Reducing diesel consumption, costs and emissions immediately and simultaneously.

Provided as a concentrate, EPC+ is designed to be blended with standard mineral diesel. When blended diesel, EPC+ delivers:

  •  A 2% to 5% reduction in diesel consumption.

  • A 2% to 5% reduction in carbon emissions.

  • A 20% to 60% reduction in diesel particulate matter.

  • Up to a 97% reduction in fuel injector fouling.

  • A 30% to 60% increase in fuel injector life.

  • A 4% to 10% reduction in AdBlue consumption and associated costs.


EPC+ is the only diesel concentrate that is produced by a major energy business, in this case TotalEnergies, the world’s fourth largest energy business. It is also the only concentrate that was used premixed with diesel before it was available for blending on-site. 

 

The EPC+ difference

  • Was not developed as an aftermarket additive. EPC+ is the key active ingredient in Excellium® Diesel, TotalEnergies' premdiesel, which has been available since 2005 through bulk supply and at and more than 17,000 service stations worldwide.

  • Contains seven active components, including a deposit control agent, cetane improver, friction modifier, corrosion inhibitor, demulsifier, antioxidant and foam-control agent.

  • Reduces fuel consumption while also supporting cleaner engine operation, reducing maintenance requirements and extending fuel injector life.

  • Developed to suit the latest engine technologies and fuel evolutions, including biodiesel blends and HVO100 renewable diesel.

  • Has been independently tested against all industry standard tests and meets fuel quality standards and specifications recognised by all OEMs worldwide, such as EN590, ISO 8217, etc

The seven active components of EPC+

Detergent
Cleans fuel injectors and prevents new deposits, helping restore and maintain optimum spray patterns, combustion efficiency and fuel economy
Cetane Improver
Promotes better fuel efficiency by reducing the delay between fuel injection and the start of the ignition resulting in a smoother combustion peak, less mechanical stress and lower combustion noise.
Friction modifier
Reduces friction and wear in the injector pump and piston-ring-cylinder area, particularly important with ultra-low sulphur diesel
Corrosion inhibitor
Protects equipment and metal parts in fuel tanks, lines and fuel systems from corrosion. Class A anti-corrosion performance
Antioxidant
Improves oxidation stability of all diesel fuels slowing fuel degradation related issues in stored diesel over time.
Demulsifier
Quickly separates water from diesel helping to reduce microbial growth, corrosion and filter blockage.
Anti-Foaming
Reduces diesel foaming during refuelling by 62%, aiding the operation of fast-fill systems.
