Fuel savings exceed expectations

The science, the trials and the data are well and good, but nothing is more convincing that the lived experience. And my lived experience in using EPC+ has mirrored the expectations from the data generated by the manufacturer TotalEnergies, and the trials conducted by GreenTECH Fuel. However, to have mirrored these on a premium diesel, exceeds expectations.

I recently started blending EPC+ into the diesel I use to fuel my 2023 Ford Ranger. I have always purchased a premium diesel from a known brand and high-volume service station.

Since I have been blending EPC+ at the recommend dose of just .007 parts per million (700ml / 1000 L), my consumption of the diesel for mixed metro use of 9.4-9.5L/100/Km has reduced to 9.0-9.1L/100Km.

This is an average saving of 4.5% or 4.5 litres per 100litres and while this may not sound like a lot, imagine the savings across a fleet of vehicles.

While I would never base decisions on anecdotal evidence – it is apparent that as expected, my experience supports the data from trials completed by TotalEnergies worldwide and GreenTECH Fuel in Australia.
