YES!
Concerns about the compliance of diesel additives are generally reserved for aftermarket products produced by chemical manufacturers.
EPC+ is not an aftermarket product and is produced by the world’s fifth-largest energy business, TotalEnergies. EPC+ is the ingredient used by TotalEnergies since 2005 to upgrade standard Excellium diesel into premium Excellium diesel. It is currently sold through more than 17,000 service stations worldwide.
EPC+ meets all the international specifications for which OEM engines are approved, such as EN 590 (the European standard for diesel compliance) and ISO 8217 (the international standard for marine diesel fuel specifications) and satisfies the performance requirements outlined in the Worldwide Fuel Charter (global OEM-backed performance standard for engine fuels).
While new to Australia, EPC+ is by no means new. It has been used in Europe since 2005 in all brands of vehicles and across most industries. The only difference in Australia is that EPC+ is blended with standard diesel onsite, rather than before delivery. This innovation can facilitate savings.
In Australia, EPC+ is available through GreenTECH Fuel.
